For over 20 years, Chef Victor and Chiara Covelli’s Zen Forrest was a beloved dining destination for food lovers across Tampa Bay. The Triton Roll: Sushi Symphony of Flavors!
The Triton Roll is an exquisite and innovative sushi creation that tantalizes the taste buds with a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. This meticulously crafted roll showcases the culinary artistry of the sushi chef, combining traditional Japanese elements with a modern twist. The Triton Roll features a luscious combination of fresh tuna and creamy avocado, providing a delightful contrast between the rich, buttery texture of the avocado and the bold, flavorful notes of the tuna.
In 2021 Chef Victor was approached by Jay Patel about creating a new concept. Thus a new partnership and the idea of Zen Kitchen & Bar was born. The concept is Fully Pan Asian which includes cuisine from East Asia and India plus Sushi. This concept would have a full liquor bar with exotic signature cocktails. Jay also thought a bigger and better venue was needed to showcase Chef Victor's skills.
The city of New Port Richey wanted an upscale restaurant for its up-and-coming and trendy downtown area. An ideal space was found but it required extensive renovation. After almost 2 years, the beautiful new Zen Kitchen & Bar was completed in September of 2023. It features a spectacular full liquor cocktail bar, a chef-hosted sushi bar, and an available private room for parties, events, and meetings. There is nothing like it on the west coast of Florida.
